Please make sure you read through the program expectations on the City of London Recreation site before registering.




Masks are required for all persons entering or staying in the facility | No spectators, including parents/guardians/siblings | Please don't arrive more than 5 minutes early for your class


If you receive an email that there is a positive case in your child's school, we request that the entire family not come to the facility until 24 hours have passed and you have not heard about the case any further, indicating your child was not deemed a close contact. If your child was a close contact, please do not come into the facility until the whole family has tested negative.

City of London Recreation Programs


These programs are offered and run by the Junction Climbing Centre as the host site, in partnership with the City of London's Recreation program. These programs are great for brand new climbers and are offered at a lower cost. We have classes for toddlers and young kids, teenagers, and adults!

Parents and Tots that Rock

(for parents and kids aged 3-5)


Active parents make active kids! Do you have young ones keeping you at home during the daytime? Parents and Tots That Rock gives both kids and adults the fun opportunity to climb, play games, and get active together. Our staff will be on hand each week to help belay and run activities for everyone.


  • 4 week program; 55 minute sessions

  • $75 per parent. Names of tots must be specified on or before the first lesson.

Little Grippers

(for kids aged 5 and 6)


Little Grippers is designed to introduce children to climbing in a fun, safe, and interactive environment - ideal for enthusiastic climbers of trees and furniture. Our experienced and knowledgeable instructors will help the children experience rock climbing while being active and making new friends. Children will learn body awareness, problem solving, and determination.


  • 4 week program; 55 minute sessions

  • $65 per child

Friday Night Climbing Club

(for teens aged 13 to 17)


This 4 week program will allow an opportunity for teens to discover the challenging intensity of rock climbing. They will learn knots and belaying as well as general climbing safety while challenging themselves and learning to push their own personal limits. Ideal for those seeking an alternative to traditional sport.


  • 4 week program; 85 minute sessions

  • $85 per teen

Introduction to Rock Climbing

(for people aged 18 and up)


This program is aimed at those who are brand new to rock climbing and would like to learn the fundamentals of the sport. This 4-week program will teach participants how to belay, the basics of route climbing and bouldering techniques as well as gym safety. This class also includes a Junction membership with gear rental for participants to come back and practice their skills.


  • 4 week program; 55 minute sessions

  • $85 per person + HST.
