Programs are currently on hiatus for the summer.

We will be evaluating the COVID-19 situation and making a decision regarding our fall sessions once the gym reopens.

Junction Development Program

Our development program is focused towards youth who are interested in improving as climbers with the potential to enter the competitive stream or simply progress through the sport as passionate lifelong climbers. This program is not geared towards first-time climbers. The program sessions are divided by age, based on competitive climbing categories determined by birth year, and ability, as explained below.

Skill Levels:
This program is designed to have skill-based levels per age category and placement will be determined by our staff. Any child new to our youth programming must start at level 1. Our instructors reserve the right to move your child into a higher or lower level based on their climbing development and/or if they believe your child would perform better in a different level. Since this may involve switching class days, you will be contacted before any changes are made.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations up to two weeks in advance are eligible to receive their deposit back. Registration for programs is limited to the specific day chosen. It is your responsibility to attend your selected program and alternate make-up days will not be provided.

Questions about our programs?

Contact our Program Coordinator Alana Stevenson at programs@junctionclimbing.com.

Funding for low-income families:

Our development program qualifies for Jumpstart funding. Visit their website to see if you're eligible and apply. Applications take 6-8 weeks to process, please apply with enough time. Once your application is approved, email us a copy of your funding approval to hold your spot. Make sure to include the Child ID and which program session you want to sign up for.

We are also researching additional resources and grant programs and will update this section over time.
