How it will work:
Register as teams of three or four and each team will have 45-minutes to race around the gym and gather as many points as possible. There will be 4 teams per 45-minute heat, with the first heat starting at 10am.
How do you get points?
There will be both climbing and other challenges available for teams to complete throughout the 45 minutes. However, teams MUST stay together. A staff member will accompany as the team judge and keep score.
There will be:
12 Routes - with zones
12 Boulder Problems - easy to moderate,
Unlimited attempts but each person can only score 4
Crate Stacking!
And a very large list of both physical and brain-teaser challenges! The list will be posted prior to the event so keep an eye out!
Teams will have to strategize and determine what to prioritize in order to accumulate the most points. Don’t be fooled, just climbing will certainly not guarantee a winning score!
Early Bird Cost: $31.86 + tax per team
Starting September 19, 2026 - Cost: $42.48 + tax per team
What else do I need to know?
Teams MUST arrive by their booking start time (9:45am, 10:30am, 11:15am) to check-in and go through the rules. Bonus points for teams who are present by this time. Points will be deducted if your team is late.
The first heat will start at 10am with the last one starting at 11:30am. (We may open more heats if needed).
Come up with a fun team name and dress up in a fun team costume for extra points.
Missing a team member? No problem! Register your team and members can be subbed in or out up until the day of the event.
Teams will receive a coloured bandana to wear during the race.
A staff member will be assigned to your team that will be following you around for the duration of the 45mins keeping score
The winning team from each heat will receive a $50 gift card to a local business.
The overall winning team members will each receive a $25 gift card to MEC and a case of Yerba Mate to share.
